We haven't done Easter baskets enough times that the kids expect it. So, it was really fun to see their reaction when they got up Easter morning with last year's Easter baskets filled with new stuff. I didn't want to have to buy new baskets every year, so I spent a little more and got ones I thought would hold up for multiple years. Mercy was most excited by the PlayDoh tools and Tinker Bell notebook in her basket. Daniel was excited about his "not very expensive Legos".
Gracie loved the card from Grandma Grete, devouring it. Hee hee. They all watched the video from Grandpa Bill and Grandma Grete, a sweet DVD called Really Woolly: The Tree of Life, which taught that sometimes something has to die for a greater good.
