I picked up a great book from the library, "The Giant Encyclopedia of Preschool Activities for Four-Year-Olds." It's intended for teachers, but is a great resource for moms looking for things to do with their kids. We decided to make their Book Worms. It's really simple. All you do is cut out lots of circles from construction paper. Draw a cute little worm face on one of the circles. Then, after you read a book you write the title of the book on another circle. You continue to add circles as you read more books. The kids get to watch the book worm "grow". My kids are loving their worms, which are "growing" around their rooms. Great motivator to read more. A great motivator to mom too, since sometimes it's good to have a physical measure of how much I'm reading to them.
