Weekend Wrap-up: Toutle Time

Maybe we are crazy. After Daniel's first day of Kindergarten we headed south to Toutle, where some of Eric's family has property. Every year since we've been married we've spent some portion of Labor Day weekend at The Toutle.

We pulled in about eleven. It took a bit to get the kids' beds pulled out and set up. We had taken the trailer down a couple of weekends earlier, so it wasn't the major set up it usually is. The drawback was we'd pulled in so late that we couldn't hook up the propane tank. It was SO cold the next morning that the kids were all awake at six, despite the fact that they hadn't gone to sleep until after midnight. Oh, well, what do I expect, we were camping.

As always, we got some fun pictures.

There was quality time with Auntie Julie...

Tootsie rolls from Aunt Francie...

Grandma Grete...

Evan...

Aunt Kristi and Megan...

Some sticky s'mores...

Some time talking about all the cool Lego sets in Grandma's new catalog...

Some time just looking cute...

And some of the best smooshing by the cousins...
