Today is the anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti that instantly changed the lives of everyone who lives in the country.
Today take a moment to listen to a few first hand experiences. If you don't know anyone personally affected you can read any one of these:
Chrivicanna: A former student of mine.
Ezili Expedition: A former high school classmate.
Home Again: A parent of a former high school classmate.
Pale Ave'm...: Talk to Me: A former student of mine.
There is no such thing as a God-forsaken town: A teacher I knew when I taught in Haiti in 2000.
Or read Trisha's Story in Everett Herald, she was my roommate the year I went back and taught in Haiti.
