Daniel is supposed to read 15-20 minutes, at least five nights a week. That's his homework, in addition to whatever math worksheets he receives. Some days are trickier than others to get his reading in. Like Wednesdays. Church midweek can make it difficult.
Gracie loves it when he is willing to read to her. We don't do this all the time, because the point really is to be reading to a reader who can help you with the words you don't know. But she loves it when he lets her curl up next to him when he's reading his Hot Wheels Phonics Readers.
I love watching my kids help each other learn.
