Project Life | Week Seven

I tried to get a little more creative this week, while still carefully staying within my grids. I think I adore project life because I adore grids. Seriously. Isn't it nice when we can fit things into boxes in our lives. Real life isn't quite so clean looking.

This week was messy for me. So to sit down and work on little boxes helped me to process my week.

I like to look at the pages side by side. The week at a quick glance.

But then there is nothing like up close and personal. Realized that neither the hubby nor Daniel is in any pictures this week. Eric doesn't like his picture taken, especially when he is sick. And Daniel, he got behind the camera this week... he took the one of my standing at the bus stop. Not bad for a seven year old.

This week was challenging. I wasn't oozing with humility and patience. I would have done better to dwell on this verse earlier in the week, rather than stumbling upon it when reflecting on the week:

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love."
     Ephesians 4:2

  3. You know, life is normally messy, and it is nice to work with clean, clear cut grids and things that don't mess up :) Patience is a hard thing for me--some weeks, days, minutes are better than others. Love your layout. Your 7 year old did take a great picture. Hope your new week is a little more grid like :)

    1. Thanks, Jen. My week hasn't started out too "grid-like", but hopefully the rest of the week will fall into place better :)

  4. I enjoyed your pages very much. My favorite is that your 7YO took a photo of you, how awesome is that. Love seeing your text on photos, looks so neat that way. Working with these little grid pockets always makes me happy also. The pages do look nice together with all that pink!!

    Have a good week.

    1. Aren't grids such a happy thing!! My 7YO loves to take pictures and is always asking to use my camera. He's pretty careful, so I let him when I'm right with him. The result has been some of my favorite pictures and a fresh perspective.
