Project Life | Week Ten

I'm back in my weekly rhythm with Project Life and if feels good. I never posted Week Nine until Friday or Saturday last week and it seemed to make me feel behind all last week. If you missed it, you can see it here.

This week's pages, side by side.
Then up close and personal.

My favorite part of these pages this week is the vellum effect.

I'm linking up this week in the same places as always and looking forward to seeing and commenting on all the creativity I find there. If you have some time, be sure to follow the links for some wonderful inspiration. I have discovered so many great blogs through these Project Life link parties.

Linking Up With:

"My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires."
James 1:19

This could be my life mantra and still on my death bed I will struggle. Oh my tongue, I allow it to get me in trouble time and time again. I fall back to this passage again and again.

  3. This is only 3rd PL blog I have visited so far today, and so far I already drooled over cake, and now I'm thinking those lemon donuts look super-tasty!

Great photos, and I love that font you're using for your titles. So playful without being twee.

  6. I really like your layout! I really like how many large photos you've used. My girls would go nuts over that Hello Kitty backpack. :)

I noticed the "Warm Beach Camp" label on your right column. When I was young, once a year my family would go to a week long camp there, put on by our church's denomination. I wonder if it's the same Warm Beach? I have such good memories of it, and now would love to take my family there.

    2. Warm Beach Camp is WONDERFUL. It's probably the same place... close to Stanwood, north of Seattle... I worked there for more than a decade about a decade ago. My parents worked there when I was a kid too. You should go back. They have a wonderful event in December called The Lights of Christmas. It's a family tradition for us. You should check it out! Summer camps are wonderful too!

    3. Yes, it is the same place. I live right across the border in B.C. As a kid I always thought it was SUCH a long drive, but now I see that it's not at all that far. And as the kids get a bit older, day trips are that much more manageable. I'll definitely have to keep this in mind for next Christmas! Thanks for the links. :)

    4. They run some specials for tickets to The Lights of Christmas, usually sometime in November. You really should try coming. They have some awesome overnight options where you can rent a hotel style room (decked out in the Victorian Era) or a cottage (a variety of themes) for incredibly reasonable rates!

  7. I love the way you mix b/w photos with the colored ones, looks so good together over the week spread. Nice birthday photos of your hubby and the cake. Love seeing the digital way your doing PL, it looks great.

Thank you for the verse, so nice to see these on your blog.
    Have a good week.

    1. Thanks, Dawn. I like to do B&W photos when they are really busy pictures, it helps to tone them down a bit.
I've been trying to focus on scripture more. This is just one way for me to keep bringing it back to the forefront of my weeks.

  9. Really nice layout. I don't do digital but it's nice to see all the cool extra things you can do. My hubs and I lead our Children's ministry and James 1:19 was our memory verse a couple of months ago. I always need help in that area!
