Project Life | Weeks 1-5

I back doing Project Life again this year. I will probably link up at The Mom Creative, because I am looking for some PL inspiration. (I just love looking at what everyone else is doing. The best ideas are always lifted from someone else, then personalized with my own flavor.) I wasn't going to post my pages online, but I have been really enjoying putting together journal cards and embellishments and so I thought it would be fun to show how I am using them on my own pages. If you like them, you can download them for free for personal use. Please don't claim them as your own or use for commercial use, unless you get written permission from me. Otherwise, enjoy. You can follow the links below to view the kits before you download the ones you want:

Project Life | Week 01

I keep a lot of notes on my calendar, so I decided to try including it. I don't know if I will do that all year, but I'm starting out that way. Also, I am doing One Little Word and I plan on doing an update periodically.

Project Life | Week 02

I find it too exhausting to write something about each day, every day. But I did do that for the second week.
Project Life | Week 03

Project Life | Week 04

I got to the end of this week and actually had very few pictures. My solution? I thought it was a great time to do a little interview of each of the kids and document their answers. I love how it turned out.

Project Life | Week 05

So there you have it. The first five weeks. I'll be working on two weeks this weekend to get caught up.

  1. Love your pages from Project Life. They are very inspiring! Thank you for your comment at my blog. First, I intended to put my accomplishments for the weekly goals in the respective Project Life post but it was not viable to me. I have discipline too, as my OLW! Have a nice day!

  2. Cami, your pages are awesome. It's a good idea to cover the journal bits. I never thought about that. I am doing one little word also. Was your book pile a TBR?
Thank you for visiting, and commenting! You made my day. : )

    1. Yes, my book pile is a TBR pile. I need to go back and look and see if I have actually read any of them yet. Ha! Too busy working on PL and not enough reading!

  3. Cami,
I stopped and took a few moments to really look at your Project Life pages this morning and I wanted to tell you that I think they are SO good. Seriously. I love all of the little details about what your family members are into at the moment, I love the journaling and I love your photos. I can only imagine how thrilled you'll be to have these pages years from now. I wish I did something similar but, I don't think I'd follow through right now. Anyway---just wanted to say that your pages are great! Have a great Monday!

    1. Thanks, Angela. I can't take credit for the idea of the little conversation/interrogation of each of the kids. That was someone else's idea (I think maybe it was Ali Edwards). But I can take credit for actually doing it! I have been meaning to for far too long! My lack of pictures that week was a perfect catalyst!

    1. Thank you, Pam. I used to share quite a bit of journaling. It became easier to just blur everything than sit down and think through what was appropriate to share and what I needed to blur because of the privacy of friends. Also, for me I found I journal differently when it could be read by anyone (a bit more guarded) than when I journal just for my hubs and kids. Totally flattered that you would even be interested in my journaling. Thank you.

    1. Wish I could take credit for the interview cards. I saw the idea several other places (including Ali Edwards), but I did make lay out these ones myself. Thanks!

    1. Thanks! I admit I didn't really want photos of me on the treadmill. Not very flattering. I keep reminding myself that several months from now I should look better :) Motivation to keep it up?? Hoping so!
